Gingerbread Dog Biscuits

Nov 13, 2023

It's that time of year again, and we're ready to spread some holiday cheer to our furry friends.

In our latest kitchen adventure, we're whipping up a batch of scrumptious gingerbread cookies that are 100% pup-approved. But here's the twist - we're adding a dash of Grinkles' limited edition superblend, "Gingerbread Delight," to take these treats to the next level.

So, let's roll up our sleeves, get our paws messy, and bake some tail-wagging magic!

Gingerbread Dog Biscuits

Ingredients: Makes 12 bikkies.

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Grinkles Gingerbread delight.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • Water (as needed for consistency)

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 165°C (325°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and Grinkles Xmas Blend.

3. Add in the honey, applesauce, melted coconut oil, and stir well to combine.

4. Slowly add water as needed to form a dough that can be easily rolled.

5. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to your desired thickness (around 6mm).

6. Use cookie cutters in Christmas-themed shapes to cut out the dough and place them onto the lined baking sheet.

7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the edges of the bikkies are golden brown.

8. Allow the gingerbread dog biscuits to cool completely before serving them to your dog.
