Festive Canine Feast: Cranberry & Turkey Meatballs

Nov 27, 2023

Tis the season to treat our four-legged friends to a little extra holiday cheer, and what better way to do that than with a lip-smacking recipe that'll have their tail go 'round like a twinkling Christmas tree ornament.

We've donned our aprons, unleashed our culinary creativity, and created a festive delight with these Cranberry & Turkey meatballs, that both you and your dog can eat together!

Cranberry & Turkey Meatballs for Your Furry Elves

Ingredients

  • 450g ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked quinoa, dried cranberries, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 3cm in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and slightly browned on the outside.
  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely before serving to your furry friend.
  6. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Happy holidays and happy cooking!
