Energy balls are not new and we all know and love them!
But did you know you can make raw balls for your dog too?
They are a great on-the-go treats and will give a boost of energy to your dog after play time at the park on while on a hike.
The best part? They're so quick and easy to make and don't even require an oven!
Ingredients:
- 2-3 tbsp peanut butter (soft and preferably natural).
- 1/3 cup coconut oil.
- 2 1/2 cup rolled oats (pulsed into a rough powder)
- 1/3 cup shredded coconut
Directions:
- In a food processor, mix coconut oil, peanut butter and rolled oats until well combined.
- Form balls by rolling dough between your hands.
- Toss balls into the shredded coconut until coated.
- Place on a tray and refrigerate for 30min before serving.
These treats will last up to 7 days in the fridge.
